Iowa rail plan sparks committee sparring amid funding debates
Iowa legislators probe rival rail plans as co chairs Harbor and Drake spar over state role. Opposition from railroads, including C and NW, cites constitutional issues and bidder concerns as testimony highlights clash over state action, competition, and potential spine line acquisitions.
