Nelson to face parole board for potential early release
Iowa parole board will hold an in person interview with Phyllis Nelson in July as part of her bid for early release from the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women in Mitchellville. Nelson, 59, of Iowa City, has served since March 2003 for voluntary manslaughter in her husband Richard Nelson's Cedar Rapids apartment death.
