Ethanol output nears record as U S producers ramp up
The U S Energy Information Administration reports weekly ethanol production at 1.006 million barrels per day in the week ending June 3, near the all time high set in 2015, with ADM and Abengoa plants contributing. Stockpiles fell 544000 barrels signaling strong demand for blending and exports.

Altoona outlet mall construction kicks off this month
Construction on the 34 acre Outlets of Des Moines mall in Altoona begins this month with 300000 square feet planned for 75 retailers in nine buildings. The project aims for a October 2017 opening and expects 500 construction jobs and 1.5 million visitors annually. The Shoppes at Prairie Crossing includes The Heart of America Group project elements and hotel plans nearby.
