Auditors show rising per student costs in 1994
Iowa universities ran higher unit costs in 1993-94 with the University of Iowa at 11 276 per pupil up 765 from 1992-93, Iowa State 8298 up 188, and UNI 7232 up 395. Regents officials caution the figures skew by accounting methods and say they rely on unit costs for budgeting.
