Rescue vessels methodically swept debris fields for Air France flight victims. They recovered 15 bodies on Sunday near the crash area, with two more found the previous day, as investigators assess the Airbus A330 disaster location.
Rebuild Iowa Office head Lt Gen Ron Dardis says recovery from tornadoes and record floods will take a decade and that total needs will outstrip available funds. As of May end, $2.2 billion in state and federal recovery money has been allocated, $1.7 billion approved for local use, and $631 million spent. He warns there will never be enough money to cover all damages.
