Administrators may keep health coverage plans

Cedar Rapids school administrators who retire at ages 50 to 65 would receive district funded family health coverage up to the cost of the Alliance Select 250 plan, $461 monthly, down from $556. The change takes effect July 1. The board also considers retirement age 55 with 75 total years and fair share raises, plus contracts for staff, a pizza contract for high schools, a Marion district food service and printing share, and an end-of-year teaching report following a Kennedy student gun incident. Meeting starts 4:30 p.m. at the Educational Service Center.
