Delayed June Meeting of Social Planners Postponed

The June meeting of the Council of Social Planners, including the campership committee, is postponed to June 16 due to Rabbi Herman E Schaalman being out of town. Rabbi Schaalman was reelected president and the board will continue monthly sessions through summer. One hundred Cedar Rapids youths may receive camperships funded by the Community Chest with added support from Public Welfare.

Foreign Trade Bureau Considers Name Change

The Foreign Trade bureau of the Chamber of Commerce will vote at its June 6:30 p.m. meeting at the Montrose hotel on changing its name to World Trade bureau. R. W. Traynor of the Great Northern Railway will discuss traffic and northwest port shipments. Reservations with Charlotte Crone at the Chamber office by Wednesday morning.
