Hopkinton Civil War Days celebrates 10th annual event
Johnny comes marching home as Ron Roger commands the 7th Missouri border raiders and the 11th Mississippi of St. Louis firing a powder volley at the Hopkinton Civil War Days. The Delaware County Historical Society sponsors the event with a 9 a.m flag raising, camp worship, crafts show, races, music, and a mid morning encampment breakout as out-of-state participants depart. Cedar Rapids groups Harmony Hawks and Emerald Knights Drum and Bugle Corps are among Saturday’s participants.
