Ukraine claims Operation Spiderweb damaged or destroyed more than 40 Russian aircraft parked near bases using inexpensive drones launched from wooden containers on trucks. The attack, costing under $1,000 per drone, sparked warnings that Western air defenses must adapt to hybrid threats while Russia disputes the damage and officials assess the broader impact on operations and morale.
