Iowa camps adapt with masks and cohort plans for summer
Camp Tanager Camp Wapsie and Camp Liberty limit camper interactions to cabin or unit groups and require masks indoors. Camp Courageous relaxes masks due to a new Iowa law. CDC guidelines favor vaccinated campers but many attendees remain ineligible. Capacity reduces to about 50 to 80 percent and organizers aim to provide a near normal camp experience despite COVID rules.
