Monticello doctor earns FAA aviation medical examiner credential

MercyCare physician Dr. Stephen Runde of Monticello is now certified by the FAA to issue medical certificates for pilot applicants. He is one of 34 aviation medical examiners in Iowa and began exams in March, focusing on second and third class certificates for commercial and recreational pilots.
