Forgery Accusation Ties to Iowa City Robbery Case
Iowa City police say Taylin Anderson helped loot a South Van Buren Street robbery on March 25 by supplying blank checks later forged by his girlfriend Priya B Krishnan. Krishnan is charged with two forgery counts plus obstruction and third degree theft after a $1250 check was withdrawn. Police linked surveillance showing Krishnan depositing forged checks at an ATM and moving items to a car as officers observed. Anderson and two others face multiple counts of first degree robbery and burglary in connected incidents.
