Blairstown School Closure Appeals to State DPI
Benton Community school board plans to appeal the Blairstown elementary closure to the state Department of Public Instruction. The six point appeal argues Blairstown is cost efficient, safer, and better for bus logistics, citing board representation and study discrepancies. A DPI review could halt or uphold the closing, with a possible court path.
