Sheriff reports an 11 year old boy threatened a teacher at knifepoint in a rural north Scott County school. The incident occurred Wednesday and the student was suspended. Parents were asked to seek psychiatric care. The boy was angered over not being promoted to the next grade. The teacher talked him into surrendering the knife after more than 20 minutes.
