State auditor details misspent funds in three Iowa investigations
Iowa State Auditor Mary Mosiman released reports on three investigations. They cite 350000 plus in undeposited collections and improper disbursements from the Substance Abuse Treatment Unit of Central Iowa, the School Nutrition Association of Iowa, and the Anthon Rescue Squad. The units involved credit card abuse, deposited checks to personal accounts, and unauthorized associations. Copies were sent to DCI, police, prosecutors, and attorney generals offices.
