Regents probe to focus on University of Iowa only
Officials in Ames and Cedar Falls urge the inquiry target the University of Iowa. ISU President Gregory Geoffrey and former UNI President Robert Koob say there has been no micromanaging by the Board of Regents at their schools. Geoffrey notes regular contact with Regent Gartner but no evidence of interference. Koob denies pressure to leave and attributes tensions to budget issues rather than board actions.
