Nation United convention in Cedar Rapids canceled over threat
Vernon Weems founder of A Nation United Inc canceled a planned Cedar Rapids forum that would gather about 375 leaders from groups including the Ku Klux Klan NAACP American Nazi Party and Jewish Defense League. He cited a threatening message from one invited group and said the event is dissolved.
