Mother Reunited With Stolen Baby In Los Angeles Case
Mary Childs, who believed her baby born alive nine months ago was stolen by Kaiser hospital nurse Norma Armistead, was awarded temporary custody with her husband. A final court ruling is set for June 25. Armistead, linked to a separate murder and baby theft, reportedly delivered the infant under false pretenses and used a new birth certificate. The brigade of investigators found the baby in Armistead’s Hollywood home, and Childs plans to rename the child Christy Ann from Derry.
