Burkhalter Explains Cedar Rapids Reserve Program
Brig. Gen. Louis D. Burkhalter, artillery commander of the 103rd Cactus division, outlines the Cedar Rapids armed forces reserve system. He argues two years active duty or six months plus reserve service balances readiness with civilian life and highlights training, pay, and pathways through reserve, National Guard, and naval components in Iowa and Missouri.
