Opus 21 Book Review and Commentary

Arabella by Georgette Heyer review note
The reader recalls Goldsmiths She Stoops To Conquer in tone and era rather than character. Bella leaves country naivete for London society, pleasing her suitors and paying her brothers gambling debts to secure her sisters future. Heyers wit heightens the enjoyable satire of manners.
