UIHC plans first inpatient tower as expansion accelerates
UI Health Care advances a multi phase expansion with a first inpatient tower planned for the main campus near Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City and a 469 060 square foot 525.6 million North Liberty hospital opening in April. The plan foresees a 2026 start for phase three and argues growth to 1 076 beds by 2031. a 28 million addition to the Iowa Advanced Technology Laboratories and a 23 million Cambus Maintenance Facility renovation also seek board approval.
