Suit seeks to block Highway 100 extension
The Sierra Club Iowa Chapter and two Cedar Rapids residents sue in the U S District Court for the Southern District of Iowa to halt the Highway 11K extension. They allege the environmental impact statement is defective and fails to consider non routing options and environmental effects. Defendants include Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and FHWA administrator Lubin Gluck.
