YMCA Dormitory to close as Cedar Rapids fund drive proceeds
Maury Wilson, executive director of the Central YMCA, announced the dormitory housing 65 to 70 men will close if a $3 million capital funds drive succeeds. The plan replaces dorm space with athletic courts and a two story gym area, with timing tied to campaign completion by July 28 and a current $1.3 million raised from special gifts.
