The Veterans Memorial Commission will meet later this month to vote on a proposed 44 175 dollar budget for 1985, a reduction from 1965 by 16 475. The drop reflects removal of 25 000 for resurfacing Rockford road SW near Memorial Stadium. The panel also accepted a one year navy lease extension for basement facilities totaling 21 118 square feet at 4 000 per year, terminable by navy on 10 days notice.
