Fifteen Private Planes Sold for Allied War Effort
Fifteen privately owned Stinson high wing monoplanes, three place craft from the midwest and south, were gathered at Roosevelt field destined for the Allied armies. Planned to be shipped to Europe via Halifax, the planes would reportedly be rolled over the border to keep within neutrality rules.
