Cedar Rapids traffic cameras review delayed into July
The Iowa DOT will not finish its review of traffic cameras in Cedar Rapids and five other cities until July or later. The review assesses whether cameras reduce crashes and improve safety, with reports due May 1 and cities arguing cameras curb violations. Cedar Rapids cites safety gains while officials prepare for further data needs and consultations with the city.
