Justice Program gives reformed criminals a clean slate
Armando Aguilar, once tracked by a rap sheet, earned a college certification and a job counseling adults after expungement. At San Jose State, the Record Clearance Project helps about 200 people erase nonviolent misdemeanor and felony convictions through court petitions supervised by justice studies students and a district attorney group.
