Tescher Leaves Cedar Rapids Theatre After Nearly 25 Years
Don Tescher, longtime Cedar Rapids Community Theater managing director, packs his trunk to move on after directing over 100 plays since 1951. He eyes acting roles, cites a shift toward change, and recalls key projects like the Strand theater purchase, touring workshops, and the Read ers and Studio theatres. His family plans a Maine summer visit as he seeks new opportunities on the East Coast.
