Race Relations Program Slated By C R Jaycees

Board Members Re-elected by IAB Convention
Four incumbents were reelected to the Iowa Association of the Blind board: Jim Tanner Waterloo Don Gagne Dubuque John Taylor Des Moines and Fred Kinney Eagle Grove. Sylvester Nemmers Des Moines was reelected as IAB delegate to the National Federation of the Blind and Phil Parks Des Moines named as alternate. Over 300 IAB members attended the Cedar Rapids convention and banquet at the Roosevelt hotel. The group voted to operate under a new trademark the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa to align with the national federation.

Workshop on Guided Self Analysis for Educators
A week long workshop at the Joint County School building 4401 Sixth Street SW runs through June 11. It teaches Guided Self Analysis using videotape to review classroom performance and identify strengths and weaknesses. Senior medical students begin a four and a half week clerkship in residence at M H I with patient responsibility under hospital staff supervision. Druggist Nears End After 37 Holdups in Denver
Denver pharmacist Joe Eisenberg, owner of the Corona drug store, plans to quit after 35 years amid 37 robberies and more than 60 broken windows.
