The Princess by Phil Stong and Rinehart review
A review praises The Princess for its vivid Iowa farm life led by Arnie Edeson and Jake Stewart. It notes strong characters, especially Arnie, and a lively farm world while criticizing dialogue that shifts to cosmopolitan settings as less convincing. The piece also compares Stong’s talent to Dickensian food descriptions and mentions book sales context.
