RAGBRAI X Riders Flood Tipton With Massive Turnout
The RAGBRAI X horde arrived in Tipton adding between 5 000 and 8 000 people to the Cedar County seat overnight as riders camped on the fair grounds amid tents and support vehicles. Riders praised the crowds the weather and the people while a rider in Central City was injured in a crash and others spoke of the ride’s communal appeal. The Des Moines Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa ends today in Davenport.
