Old Troy Mills school finds new life as community hub
The Troy Mills Area Housing Development Corp bought the old North Linn School District building for 339 dollars to house a community preschool this fall. Plans call for converting first floor into six senior apartments and gym space into a fitness center, with upper floors into four regular apartments and a community center. The group aims to fund an engineering study and pursue grants to cover most costs while preserving local heritage.
