The Hall-Perrine Foundation of Cedar Rapids grants 500000 to The History Center to support rehabilitating the Douglas Mansion at 800 Second Ave SE into the center’s new home. The gift caps a campaign math toward a 3.4 million landmark goal, with renovations planned to start if funds reach 3.9 million total. Authorities aim to move in by 2018.
