Oak Hill HAND project aims to build 28 homes near Mercy
Cedar Rapids advances the Housing and Neighborhood Development HAND program for Oak Hill Elm Street area near Mercy Medical Center. Four initial homes rise on Blythe land with incentives for buyers and builders, followed by ten in 2008 and ten in 2009. City funds include property acquisition renovations and down payment assistance while design guidelines ensure compatibility with existing homes.
