Lake Delhi residents vow comeback after dam flood
Jim Willey of the Lake Delhi Recreation Association says the community will rebuild after unprecedented flooding overtopped the dam on the Maquoketa River. The 88 year old concrete dam remains intact though about 200 feet of the earth over concrete section was washed away. Governor Culver to speak with residents on state help, with stops at the Lake Delhi Association Building and local farms in Hopkinton and Maquoketa.
