Hearing continues in Scott County for Cedar Rapids man

A Scott County District Court hearing for 32 year old Joe Lloyd Jones of Cedar Rapids was continued to August 27. He is expected to plead to a drunken driving charge. Jones is jailed in Knox County Illinois facing drunken driving reckless homicide driving without insurance and driving without a license. The charges come after his car rear ended Terry Stome 35 of Conway Arkansas on Interstate 74 killing Stome. He was also sought on two other Illinois alcohol warrants.

Cedar Rapids eyes higher parking fines to curb late payments
