Father wins second chance in Iowa custody case
The Iowa Court of Appeals rules Linn County District Court erred in upholding a custody stipulation between Todd Ginther and Debbie Rutledge. Ginther had signed the agreement under advice he would lose physical custody, following DHS findings and an earlier injunction. The ruling voids the 1987 agreement and grants Ginther another chance to seek custody of his son Andrew, age 3.
