Ann Casey of Mason City led the field with medalist honors at the Iowa state women's amateur golf tournament underway in qualifying rounds. Ninety-plus players from across the state competed, with Mary Louise Cordingley and Lois Penn close behind, and Sue Smulekoff posting Cedar Rapids best at 90.
