Fishing rules suspended at Bays Branch marsh Iowa
The Iowa DNR removes most fishing regulations at Bays Branch to permit harvest by nearly all legal methods except explosives or stupefying substances. Licenses required. Water levels lowered to promote emergent vegetation and habitat for waterfowl and other wildlife, control carp, and support bridge work by Guthrie County Road Department through spring 2008.
