J C Mike Kennedy aged 78 of 434 29th St Drive SE Cedar Rapids died Sunday at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. He was born Feb 22 1903 in Blockton and lived in Davenport and Des Moines before moving to Cedar Rapids. He married Harriet Caldwell on April 15 1967 in Cedar Rapids and was manager of the Roosevelt Hotel for 28 years. He held multiple lodge and hotel associations memberships and belonged to St Pauls Methodist Church. Services 11 am Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial Cedar Memorial Mausoleum. Donations to American Cancer Society or Perrine Cancer Unit.
