BAR HARBOR Maine UPI scientist Dr Park Gerald of Harvard Medical School says Fragile X Syndrome caused by a defective X chromosome passed from mother to son accounts for 2 to 3 percent of males in mental institutions. Two Cyclists Hospitalized After Separate Thursday Accidents
Two motorcyclists remained in St Luke's Hospital today with injuries from separate Thursday evening incidents. Todd Emerson 16 Belle Plaine listed in fair condition with leg injuries after a left turn from Williams Boulevard onto 16th Avenue collided with a southbound car driven by Gregory Platz 30 from Linmar Drive NE. Emerson was ticketed for an improper left turn and operating a motorcycle with license restrictions. the motorcycle owner Daniel Bussey Belle Plaine was ticketed for allowing an unauthorized person to drive. Terry Eiben 23 Central City admitted to St Luke's around 8 pm with leg injuries. He said he was injured riding in the Jordan's Grove Bridge area southeast of Central City and east of Alburnett. Linn sheriff's deputies had no record of Eiben's accident.
