A list of motorists fined from Cedar Rapids for various offenses. Recurrent names include Butterfield Hasson Krizek Lyman Woods and many others with fines ranging from $10 to $100 and costs. One defendant Butterfield received eight days in jail for reckless driving and disobeying a stop sign.
In the First avenue division Samuel M. Carson 19 of Marion was charged with drunk driving on May 12 and received a deferred sentence. Michael R. Jared 19 of Marion charged April 29 with drunk driving. James C. Stumpf 22 of Marion charged May 21 with drunk driving and given a deferred sentence with license suspension. Victor Scoville 25 of the Magnus hotel charged May 2 with assault and battery was fined 75 dollars. Larry L. Jayne 43 of Crescent street SE charged June 20 with assault and battery was fined 20 dollars. Dawn M. Williams 18 of Harrier avenue NW charged June 8 with unlawful use of the telephone was fined 75 dollars. Lloyd G. Hasson 34 of Lynda drive NW charged April 18 with speeding pled guilty to an amended charge and fined 50 dollars.
