Iowa bike ride boosts Corridor businesses during RAGBRAI

Hundreds of cyclists spent two overnight stays in the Corridor with Mount Vernon eateries and Coralville bars packed. The event drew 1,500 to 2,000 meals at Alger's Pizza Palace, with similar strong crowds at Chameleon's Pub & Grub and 30 Hop. Local shops and volunteers supported the turnout despite midday rain.
