Salvation Army Budget Not Approved by United Fund Panel

United Fund budget review committee withheld approval of the Salvation Army budget on Tuesday night citing concerns over how non United Fund income and Christmas fund excesses would be used. Everett Andrew 36 of Mount Vernon pled guilty in Linn district court Wednesday to a second offense drunk driving charge and was fined 500 dollars. Andrew was arrested by authorities following a traffic stop.
