Floodwaters Rise in Eastern Iowa but Homes Safe
Flood warnings linger on the Wapsipinicon River as a 20 foot crest nears Anamosa while Independence reports a 15.4 foot crest. Officials say no homes are threatened though roads flooded and about 20 residents in Littleton and Otterville affected. The Riverwalk Parks flood buyout area aims to reduce future losses.

Pate releases two emails on election integrity inquiry
Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate provided two emails from the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity in response to an open records request by the ACLU of Iowa. The emails include a request for voter data and a note urging delay until a judge rules on the challenge. The ACLU says the public has a right to know the commission's activities, while Pate and staff clarified no voting records are being released. Public data available includes name address date of birth party and elections voted in with Social Security and driver’s license numbers redacted.
