Funeral held for two KC boys drowned in Iowa pool
Funeral services were held for Gael Paulette also known as Gael Chrispin aged 14 and Nehmson Sanon aged 15 who drowned July 14 at the Pella Aquatic Center in Iowa. They had attended a Central College sports camp run by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The organization said there were about 10 lifeguards and 20 group leaders on site. A FCA spokesman noted parent permission forms allowing swimming were not taken to the pool. The swim began at 8 30 p m and lasted about an hour. The teens were remembered for their Christian faith at a Kansas City church. The pool lighting reports raise questions about safety but no cause is given.
