Corridor mobilizes RAGBRAI riders to recruit workers

About 20 cyclists will wear CorridorCareers.com jerseys at RAGBRAI stops in North Liberty today and Tipton tomorrow to promote job opportunities. Iowa City Area Development and Priority One will greet riders at Penn Street and Jones Boulevard. The effort ties to a 2010 report predicting 16 000 needed workers between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City and notes 11 percent job growth among 65 local companies last year.
