An informant tipped officers to his location and the raid ended without incident. Spencer used alias Lloyd Scott and was known as Bobby by Inn Circle staff. He faces first degree murder charges in St Louis and a federal drug distribution warrant along with a Missouri parole-violation warrant.
Cedar River Paper Co plans a $230 million cardboard and wastepaper recycling mill at C Street SW and Highway 30 in southwest Cedar Rapids. Operations start July 1995 with 125 jobs at $45 000 annually. hiring begins April 1994. The plant will recycle 300 000 tons yearly and produce 750 tons daily of corrugated medium, reducing local waste to landfills.
