Berry of Sac City won the overall grand champion market lamb at the Dysart Geneseo FFA quality lamb show in Dysart, with his 107 pound lamb earning junior champion individual and contributing to a grand and junior champion pair for Berry. The event drew 212 lambs, per Caroline Krafka.

Fairgoers saw MANCHESTER-Gary Schnieder win the senior division with Rick Weber in second. Glenda Davis won junior division, with Matt Miller second. Manchester FFA won the senior team title. Coffins Grove Livestock 4 Her Club led the junior team. Twenty-two teams and 21 individuals competed. judges were Tom Robinson and David Kunde.

Sheryl Knop of Ida Grove presented the grand champion Angus heifer at Knoxville’s Iowa Junior Premier Angus show. She also claimed reserve champion bred and owned heifer. LaRoyce Leonard of Perry showed the champion bred and owned heifer. Ron Skarda of Afton showed the grand champion Angus steer with Merl McCulloh of Camanche earning reserve. Stacey Gropper of Grinnell and Susan Matlage of St Marys entered the reserve Angus crossbred steer.
