Mistrial Declared in Lisbon School Bullying Case

Cedar Rapids felon pleads guilty to ammunition charge
A 51 year old felon admitted in federal court to possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon. Robert M. Hertz pleaded guilty to one count after authorities found a .40 caliber rifle and 237 rounds on May 12. He previously had three felonies including arson burglary and meth manufacturing. He faces a 15 year minimum prison term and up to 250000 dollars in fines. Judge Jon Scoles noted possible obstruction and scheduled sentencing.
